$33,000 Raised this year in Fort St John's Jail n' Bail

The Jail 'n Bail fundraiser in Fort St. John is in the books, and this year's tentative totals are on pace with last year's record-reaking mark.

Cst. Jackson with the Fort St. John RCMP says over $33,000 has so far been raised for the Canadian Cancer Society, with more coming in. Sgt. Ingham says Fort St John residents were incredibly willing to participate in the fundraiser.

Both Sgt. Ingham and Cst. Jackson will be taking the money raised to Prince George. They will continue to raise money on the Canadian Cancer Society's Tour de North by bike-riding the 826 km between Prince George and Prince Rupert.
